Seribu Island Regency promotes Coastal Tourism during its participation at Flora and Fauna (Flona) 2024 Exhibition.

The exhibition held by Jakarta Provincial Government at Lapangan Banteng Park, Pasar Baru, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, is held from July 5 to August 2.

Seribu Island Regent, Junaedi, said his side wants to introduce more widely the culture and superior tourist destinations in the Seribu Island. One of them is the tourist charm of Macan Island which is natural, cool and open with natural lizard animals.

"Hopefully this will gain tourist visit to Macan Island," he said, Tuesday (7/9).

Junaedi added, his party also displayed a miniature Phinisi ship which is ready to take tourists to the Seribu Island.

There is also acoustic music entertainment, educational games, as well as various typical Seribu Island foods such as Breadfruit Chips, Seaweed Drinks and various processed fish.

Seribu Island Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency Head, Nurliati, stated apart from the natural beauty and diversity of marine habitats, this exhibition also displays a variety of hydroponic plants, family medicinal plants (Toga), as well as various ornamental plants.

"We also provide urban farming education to visitors," she added.

One of visitors from Cibinong, Zahro (42), admitted Seribu Island stand displays many interesting ornaments. Visitors are also immediately served a refreshing seaweed drink.

"Seribu Island has many interesting to be visited. I'll go there soon," she admitted.
